Reverse Osmosis Status Update from Village of Western Springs

WESTERN SPRINGS – The village of Western Springs reported that repairs to the interior of the reverse osmosis plant from the July 31 accident have been completed. To learn more about the repairs, read the full press release below.

Repairs to the interior of the plant from the July 31st incident have been completed and treatment equipment for well #4 was brought back online this afternoon and is going to distribution. Start up was slightly delayed from this morning because the system had to be purged of air before reestablishing output through the LPRO system.

The completion of the Clean-In-Place (CIP) process for well #3 is expected within the next 1-2 days and the well #3 RO system is expected to be back online late this week or early next week assuming the CIP process is complete.
